Subject: Bryce query

I have just bought (legitimately) Bryce 7 Pro. The 2 files of it that I successfully downloaded are:-

BryceLightning_7.1.0.109_Win.exe , 11,116 Kbytes

BryceProContent_7.0.0.19_Win.exe, 17,639 Kbytes.

Are these a complete Bryce 7 Pro setup?

Where are its manual and readme?

How do I install them?

They are just add ons which you install after installing Bryce. You just click or double click on them to install. If you don't have a download link for Bryce 7 you should contact Daz here: http://www.daz3d.com

You could also join the Daz Bryce forums while you are there, there's loads of help there.

Hi.

When I downloaded my files from Daz for Bryce 7 Pro I had the following files:

Bryce_(num)Win32

Bryce Content Win

Bryce Lightning

Bryce Pro Content

So it seems you may be missing some files for installation.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I have downloaded 2 more files, and I now have:-

Bryce_7.1.0.109_Win32.exe , 259.850 Mbytes

BryceContent_7.0.0.21_Win.exe , 686.116 Mbytes

BryceLightning_7.1.0.109_Win.exe , 11.116 Mbytes

BryceProContent_7.0.0.19_Win.exe , 17.639 Mbytes

The two long files add up to nearly a gigabyte, and they took an age and an age to download.

Sounds like it should now be correct. :) Good luck!

Should I install from all four of these files?

Where can I get a Bryce 7 manual?

jennblake ( ) posted Mon, 28 October 2013 at 11:44 AM

Yes you should install all 4 file.

After you have installed the program you will find an Artist's Guide or manual for the program under Start/All Programs/DAZ 3D/Bryce 7

Also if you go to youtube and type in Bryce tutorials you will find a wealth of knowledge to go through. :)

Bryce Lightning isnt needed if you are only going to use Bryce on one machine. It makes Bryce able to render on several computers for faster renders.

Your idea is outstanding the issue is one thing that not enough persons are speaking intelligently about. I am very completely satisfied that.
