I'm in the same time zone as you and spent several hours here during the busiest part of the day with no slow downs. Every page popped up instantly as I browsed the products and read the forums (I was looking for a particular product and the search utility is notoriously horrible). I can only suggest that it was congestion or problems with your ISP. My local provider upgraded our neighbourhood to fibre two months ago and we had pretty slow service for a week.
Hi Stacey, thnx for the reply, I'm mostly using Firefox but sometimes use IE, my OS is Win 7. As a point of interest tho, my problems with the site began when Renderosity changed to it's present format which accounts for my decline in purchases from the store. Some sections work reasonably well ie: Freebie, Front page and Market page but when I go to a vendors product page it takes ages and ends with nothing but broken pages. Btw, my machine is a high end gaming rig and runs online games on ultra high without lag so I know my end of things are working fine. Thnx again for taking the time to reply Stacey, take care and I hope Renderosity can be a fun place for me again..... :0)

The site response was so poor yesterday it took almost an hour to display the first two pages of the $5 Friday listings and look at two product pages. Lacking the ability to handle the traffic made this sale a terrible idea. Very frustrating. Isn't it pretty obvious that you wouldn't be able to display 40 odd pages and 1400 products to your full customer base in just a couple of hours? It made it particularly unfair to your North American customers who shop when the site traffic is highest. Those who provide some of the strongest support to Rendo get the wrost deal!
