Subject: Your system failed me, I purcahsed a product TWICE. :(

I purchased Fairy Tales 2 as part of a bundled item in this order:
Order#: 112498158  in March

and then when I looked at this product on sale yesterday, it did NOT say "purchased" so
I bought it again in this order:
Order#: 112595219

It's not fair when I rely on your system to tell me I already have an item....this is a serious
glitch in how your system works...and another reason I have been trying NOT to shop here.

May I please have a refund or store credit for the $9.06 I paid for my second purchase of this product??  

I have bought so MANY things here, I simply did not remember....and your system of labeling something as "purchased" has been something I have DEPENDED on!

Nope the system worked exactly as designed.  It's because you originally purchased it in a bundle and due to so much customer feedback we disengaged the flag when it comes to bundles because sometimes a customer wanted to buy something in a bundle that maybe one of the items they already owned was in because it was still cheaper to get the other items in the bundle than to purchase them individually. It was one of the biggest request on our buyer survey a few years ago so we changed it and made a big announcement about it so customers would know that it's possible to have a duplicate purchase if one was a bundle purchase and to let us know if they didn't catch they already owned it due to one being a bundle purchase and we would refund the duplicate.

 

So in summary the system didn't fail, it's intended to work that way for bundle purchases.

I've given you an instore credit for the most recent purchase that was a duplicate.

Hello

I have made a purchase today, but I noticed that never I was told that I have already buy this item. I have to search in my items list to see that. What is the option to have back the system telling me that I have already bought this item?

That was working up until maybe as recently as last night. I noticed today, however, that it's no longer working. Hopefully this will get fixed soon. I posted a separate thread in the MP Support forum.

Seriously, this is a huge problem. The 'purchased' flag has totally failed.

I'm adding that it doesn't work in the store either. Is it just me?

Nope not the only one.  My purchased flags haven't worked since the grab bag sale started early this morning.  Not good when you're putting stuff in your cart & trying to remember what you have or don't have without digging through your files haha

Not working for me either.. sorry but the system actually is failing.   I want to take advantage of the holiday coupon but I buy so much stuff here all the time that there is no way I know if I have purchased something or not unless the store lets me know.  I had already a couple things in my cart and then realized I had purchased them already.  Please fix this before the coupon expires! Thank you :)

Same here Stac, the system flags are not in place.  I went to check out the propschick sale and nothing at all is marked as purchased, despite having bought the newest items.

Add me to the list - none of my purchased items show as "purchased" any more.

Yep, just carted some items I thought I purchased, double checked and had previously purchased them so caught the error in time. I noticed this happening yesterday. It seems worse today in that it's not showing any items previously purchased when looking at vendors (ones where I own almost if not all their products). So not showing any previously purchased items when shopping. I figured it might be a server update error or something. Looks like the program or setting for flagging for displaying the previous purchases is turned off for customers.

The dust settled, thinking "what a fine home, at least for now" not realizing that doom would soon be coming in the form of a vacuum cleaner.

Hello , same case here , so i did not make purchase anymore , until a fix will come ( too bad , my cart was full of some item i want , but too lazy to check if i have them already )

Got news for ya sparky - I have been randomly loading items I have purchased over the past 10 years into the cart.  None of which were in bundles.  Guess what? 
It's not showing a single item that I have purchased in the past 10 years as having been purchased.

This isn't just stupid - it's DAZ stupid.

No more money for you until this is fixed.

According to another thread it's due to the Halloween grab bag sale. The warning was turned off (as it's been in previous Halloween Grab bag sales) and there's a warning in the fine print of the Halloween Grab Bag page about it.
