I bought Reality 2 for DAZ Studio 4.6 and thought it was a plugin tool and not a bridge!

Understand after read all information that I missed in the beginning I also need the free

version of Luxrender!

My question is which version I should use?

the 64 bit with Open GL or the 64 bit without open GL

My system is this

Windows 7 Pro 64 bit

Nvidia GTX680

12GB RAM

Yes, I know but I ask for which version!

With OpenCL or without OpenCL?

I use the NO Open GL option and have no problems.with a system similar to yours.I remember reading using GL for rendering was unstable and more difficult. Also the vendor recommends using LUXRENDER 1.2  as 1.3 is not supported. I obtained this information on the reality forum on Runtime DNA.The vendor pablo is very good at answering questions.I hope this helps , but remember I am only a beginner. Good luck!!!

Did you buy Reality 2 or Reality 4?  Reality 4 was just recently released.

The OpenCL version of LuxRender I believe is to support hardware assisted render using your graphics card.  You need to have a graphics card that supports OpenCL.  This hardware assisted render has been an experimental feature in LuxRender. That means it is buggy. If you are just starting out use the version without OpenCL support. You can always try out the OpenCL version later.
