Hi Poser-folk,

I have Poser 9. I had a hard drive blast, and have to reinstall. I got the Poser part installed, but the library isn't showing up.

I recall something about needing Flashplayer, and have the latest Flashplayer installed but no go so far.

Very frustrating. Can anyone outline the steps involved in installing or re-installing Poser 9 so it's a usable software application? 

Also, how to get the CP cart to send the latest service release? It's in the cart, zero-dollar transaction, I'm signed in and my account is active. Cart keeps saying I have to sign in...

Under which OS environment are you installing Poser 9?  Installation into Vista, Win7 & Win8 requires a default setting where content is directed to share folder and automatically linked to Poser.  If you installed content to the main runtime within Program Files of those aforementioned OS then UAC will cause problems with access and recognition.

I believe the latest service release fixed the Library issue.  Try getting it from the SM site, although you will need to enter your information yet again...

Still negotiating with SM about why their cart won't release the zero-dollar service release to a registered active-account customer?

With the earlier SR's, I had to navigate CP once or twice.  Since then, I'd gotten the files directly from SM.  As WandW posted, you will need to input your profile information again but I think that's a minor inconvenience.

 Not any Flashplayer will do.
You have to install Flashplayer for IE.
