I was wondering what process you follow when making a new character? For example, do you make a texture for your figure and then apply it to your figure before you start playing with the morphs or after? I tend to make the texture and then adjust the morphs and make changes to the texture as I go. Then I start making the hair and clothing.

Are you asking from a vendor perspective or an artists?

Either one really. I was just curious how others organized their work. Maybe even pick up an idea or two.

depends jbearnolimits  , but in general I make the physical complexion , the  morphs (in Zbrush) and then I do the textures, but before I already have an idea of what I want  get, (working with images as references to help me a lot in the process ) , although I'm doing test renders with a standard texture

the hair and clothes is the last thing

Morphs first, then textures for me

Depends on the job and the client.
