IF Alyson exists in your poser runtime as a CR2 or CRZ, just map the poser runtime to DS, navigate to it and double click Alyson.

Only if Alyson uses legacy Poser rigging.  Studio cannot use Poser weight mapped figures or the modified legacy rigging introduced in Poser 8.

Alyson will appear OK in the default pose, but in any others it goes wonky.

AFAIK, the weight mapping for Poser Native figures became incompatible starting with Poser 8

Thanks that answers my question. I just dont understand why Daz would split the market like this I cannot be good for anyone

What makes you think DAZ is responsible for Smith-Micro deciding to make their implementation of weight-mapping incompatible with DAZ Studio's?

Agree. DAZ was tripping over it's self to make sure their content worked in Poser. I don't see smithmicro doing that. In other words DAZ; for once, was going above and beyond not to split the market.

But please, lets not open that Studio vs Poser can of worms.
