Subject: Please, help me to disable my Rendo account

I am also interested in knowing how to delete my account here ,   in other places there is the option to delete account but can not find it here, can someone help me please ?  There is some guidance to erase all my data here?

Other question:

what happens to my personal data ? is automatically deleted or I have to order this especially ?

You would first need to sign into your account and remove your gallery, friends, free-stuff, wish-lists and favorite lists, and remove any notifications you have set (e.g.gallery subscriptions, site mail notifications, newsletter , daily digest, etc. We ask you to do this to make sure that there isn't any information or product backups you may need once your account is closed.  Your products will remain attached to that username forever but you will not be able to access them if you are not a member but if you decide to open your account back up they are there for you.

While we would hate to see you leave we understand that circumstances come up.

Please let me know if you would like to proceed with closing your account.

^ I'm not leaving, but since they're mentioned, where are those settings exactly? I've only found 1 single yes/no in my profile settings. If there are more, can you kindly point me to them?

/edit aaand there's the quote issue.. also can't find font settings to change the size

Sure for Gallery Subscriptions:

Go the Members tab>MyAccount>Subscriptions

Sitemail

Any sitemail you wish to delete, copy, etc

Newsletter 

Members tab> MyProfile>At the bottom you can unselect if you are a newsletter subscriber

Daily Digest

Click on the bubble in the top right hand corner then you will un-check the blue box that says Receive Daily Digest

What's going on? Why are so many people leaving rendo???

Oh it's just like one of those internet crazes like planking. One person does it now everybody wants to:) It's kind of silly, since who knows what the future holds. Now say the site gets fixed and everything is full of roses, now you want to return and have to make a new account:) I'd just leave my account and go missing if I don't want to be here right now, and return when things are better. Not that I honestly see a major issue that is going to force me to leave. Unless, the people who are leaving are activists and are making a protest to prove a point:)

Well you said nothing interesting or positive either, but then I'm not surprised. You can follow the others out the door too if you don't like my presence. Certainly will make the site even more positive. I so enjoy not even being involved in a thread and get personally attacked.. not to mention seeing a mod continually being insulted by the OP. He certainly won't be missed by many. At least though the years I've tried to give the proper information and answers to people that needed it rather than think that name calling, bullying and personal attacks well keep people from discussing certain products because they don't like it. And I certainly had people upset because they thought that doing those things would keep me from giving people that ask that information about using DAZ products in Poser. Now, years later, those people have shipped out or is shipping out because those products are more prominent... but it's not about this companies battling. It's about artists being able to use various tool in their work and being able to ask questions how to best do that with out others trying to trample over them for asking, or telling them outright wrong information.

That's why I post because new users and others need to know the information to make a proper judgment on those products, meanwhile your posts that I've seen over the years contributed nothing but snide remarks adding little value to the forum. And I also shop here and probably buy more content than you do if you want to pull receipts on who deserves to be here or not. So next time don't come for me unless you have a written invitation to visit.

here's a clue for you and zev. I can't see your posts. I won't be seeing your posts. and I think we should be encouraging everyone to make use of the ignore where you and zev are concerned.

It would be nice to not see the "Heads Up!" bit.  So far I only have one of them on ignore, (although there is a distinct possibility that there will be more) and it works like a charm. 

to the powers that be - there's a reason I ignore people.  It means they have nothing that I will find interesting or enlightening and I'd really rather not see anything from them at all.  I am well aware they are ignored! You don't have to keep reminding me every time they post
