Check out my store here or my free stuff here
I use Poser 13 and win 10
Actually there is a character based on V3 in My current CG animated film project

A word is not the same with one writer as with another. One tears it from his guts. The other pulls it out of his overcoat pocket

Heat and animosity, contest and conflict, may sharpen the wits, although they rarely do;they never strengthen the understanding, clear the perspicacity, guide the judgment, or improve the heart

So is that TTFN or TANSTAAFL?
I use her now and then. JoePublic did an excellent free open-source weightmapped version, which is hosted by BasicWiz...

"Oh - the manual says that? I have never read the manual - this must be why."Absolutely! I still use V3 regularly and it is still an important character in my character stable. I didn't know there was a low resolution version and would like to get my hands on it, especially if standard V3 clothing will fit on the lo-res version.
V3 (and A3 M3 Variants - I consider in the same category) have/has some advantages over V4 and because the figure is an earlier generation often helps to lower the size of scenes. I have a lot of items with cross support for V3.
V3 gives some visual relief to a scene with V4 characters as it is slightly different and I think it is still a good strong mesh.
Good prices on sales in the last couple of years have led me to pick up a lot of stuff for V3, and it is the 'stuff' too that is important.
Yes indeedy ! And she's the perfect retro spacegirl...
The 3Dcheapskate* occasionally posts sensible stuff. Usually by accident.
And it usually uses Poser 11, with units set to inches. Except when it's using Poser 6 or PP2014, or when its units are set to PNU.
*also available in ShareCG, DAZ, and HiveWire3D flavours (the DeviantArt and CGBytes flavour have been discontinued).
Dang yea. Can't be bothered with all that nonsense of importers, or b*ggering around with loads of morphs just to make some simple clothing fit.
With V3, it's load up, add some poses and clothes (choosing from the 1000's of bits out there compared to other figures), conform.
Like Scotti I'll usually render in vue, or ask someone to render it in something that can handle HDR light sources and SSS like keyshot and the results are easily equal to - often miles better - than what the core apps can do.
Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.

I'm curious if there are Poser users out there who still use V3.
