If you select the hip geometry with the Geometry Editor tool and then select the left thigh maps one-by-one in the Tool Settings pane, with the Node Weight Map brush active, you should then be able to right-click, Weight Editing>Fill Selected and set the value in the dialogue to 0. You will probably need to tidy up along the join between hip and though, but no other areas should be affected.

Hi there. After years with doing texturing and play around with DAZ, I´ve started to rigging. It´s difficult cause english is not my native language. Well I guess my english is good enough, but sometimes....there are technical words I did not understand. So here is my question. I have download a free model of C3PO and I rigg it now. But I make a mistake while mapping. So the map for the left tigh includes now the hip also and that is what I don´t want to do. Is there a way to deselect the hip of that mapping without destroying the whole weight map? Feel free to send me an email. Blackangelcrow@web.de
