Hi! I"ll tried everywhere else, so. Can someone tell me how to model a runing stream of water down a slope or hill? Thanks, exec

No need to model it. In Lightwave, you can simply use Hypervoxels to create anything from explosions to water. With the use of Lightwave's Particle FX, you can make a perfect stream of water, and have it splash as it hits the ground or have it flow (like you are asking about); then just apply Hypervoxels. It's quite simple in Lightwave. Since you don't have Lightwave, I'm not sure if you'd really want to model it. It'll be very time consuming, but I guess it could be done. What program/s are you using?

Thanks for the reply, I'm using PoserPro, RDS5,and Carrara. I have access to 3DMax 2.5 but would have to learn it. However I'm willing to learn! Again Thanks exec

Well, not sure what kind of particle system Max has, but I guess you could ask in the Max forum for help.

the PSpray ParticleFunction could be a possible solution, never really worked with it, but it should work. The best is, if you ask in the maxforum

If u use 3D Studio Max, then by the Book Effects Magic from New Riders, there will be more then running water effects.
