Subject: Installation path

I just updated to the new 4.8, now I'm having an issue with a "bridge" for photoshop. It says I can't install a bridge for photoshop because no installation path can be found. I have photoshop on my computer. How do I go about creating a bridge ?

If you are having trouble installing the Photoshop bridge plugin in the DIM then

Open your Install manager there is a setting cog up top right click on it when it opens you will see 4 tabs the last one on right is applications. Check to see if Photoshop is there. If not the click add + and then you can point it to the install path for your Photoshop C:/ProgramFiles/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CC2015 or what version you have

I should point out I am not sure at what cutoff point the bridge will work with what version of PS it may only work with earlier version ie CS6 and not Adobes Creative Cloud way of doing things these day. I know there was a few issues early in the change with Adobe. Somebody here may confirm this

As far as I know the bridge only works up CS6 and has not functioned with Photoshop CC2015 I am not sure if Daz will be fixing this but have been keeping my eye out for any changes and has yet to happen also if you are using CS6 and below do make sure that if you install Daz 64bit version that you are also working with the 64bit version of Photoshop same if you install 32 bit version they should match up or will also not work properly

I know I had difficulty when I installed the 32 bit version of Daz and had the 64 bit version of PS but most of the issues were resolved when they both matched up to the same 32 or 64 bit version.

I think CC is now supported - unless the latest refresh of CC broke it again (still on CS6, so I'm not sure).

I kept CS6 installed on my system and the newest version of CC2015 does not seem to support it or I am doing something wrong but works in CS6 so leaving it be since not overly excited by the newest CC but might be something to look up perhaps there is a special way to get it to work

You can, as far as I know, have only one active version of the bridge.
