Turbosquid Usually Free - $20 to a "if you don't mind selling one of your kidneys on the black market to afford it" type price, but quality is always there. I use em all the time. Check available format too as it varies considerably.

There's 2 on Turbosquid, one is out of my price range and the other is inaccurate. The ancient historians describe it as having three sections: A rectangular building topped by a octagonal part and on top of that a round tower with the light inside it. The cheaper Turbosquid model is missing the octagonal part. And on the other one on Turbosquid, the light tower part is too big according to the few depictions of it that survive.

Wouldn't it be easier to modify the cheaper one. I just took a look at them Take screenshots of the accurate one which is a little extreme in pricing to get the octagonal part as guide also use available images you already have Get the cheaper one which in my mind would put you miles in front considering the hours putting it together yourself. Open it in hexagon/blender or similar place the image behind it and rectify. The cheaper one is a 3DS you can convert the files there My importer gives me that option to pretty much convert anything to my required file so not familiar with their system. I have done this more than once sometimes if my OCD kicks in by the time I have finished I might as well have built the thing myself but at the very least the shape is there. Last project was a van I ended up using the roofline not much else I didn't alter or tweak even replaced the wheels and had to build full interior I think it was $100 - 150 for the licensed model and still consider it was worth it as a base with time saved

Does anyone know where I can obtain a model of the Pharos lighthouse (For those unfamiliar with it, it's a lighthouse that used to be in Alexandria Egypt a couple thousand years ago, one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World). I'm not picky about format as long as Daz Studio or Carrara can import it. Free would be preferable, but I will buy one if I have to.. I have started an attempt at modeling one myself, but it's a more involved project than I thought it might be, so I'd prefer to get one already made if I can.
