Roxie Improvement Project

The Roxie Improvement project is an attempt to add functionality to Roxie to make it a more useful figure. This zip file contains a runtime with a new cr2 for Roxie, containing many many (hundreds) new morphs for Roxie. Use the head morph dials in head, and all other dials in Body as usual

Use: commercial and private renders are fine

Distribution: this zipfile can only be redistributed, and only in its entirety, if it is no longer available for download from ShareCG or Renderosity.

Character makers: you CAN combine morphs into one and redistribute that for free or commercial use. Please put a note in the readme that you used these morphs. If you make a character using my morphs I request you consider sending me a copy. I think that's fair.

You can NOT: redistribute this without it first being unavailable through other means

You can NOT: sell this file as is

You can NOT: move all my morphs into a new cr2 and sell it as a new thing

If you do not have Roxie for Poser 10 (poser pro 2014) THIS WILL NOT WORK.

No geometry or textures are included.

Also included are copies of the stock Roxie clothing items, with RI morphs added. These too will only work if you have the original clothing obj.

Also included is one (very rough) fit pose to move v4 hr2 hairs more or less into position. You will need to adjust per hair.

Morphs types included .. since I'm not writing out all this mess.

Scaling - assorted dials that control scaling of various areas of the body included legs and arm length and headsize. No geometry, no morphs needed for support.

FBM - full Body Morphs. All the usual suspects plus a few oddballs.

Height - this morphs changes Roxies height from 2 feet tall to mmm 8? 9? feet tall. This is done entirely via scaling, no geometry whatsoever. Conforming clothes need to match scaling.


Baby  - The BabyBody morph is not meant for use by itself.  The Baby morph calls the BabyHead and BabyBody morphs as well as Height to turn Roxie into something approximating a baby. I'd apologize for inflicting this on you, but the poser babies are even scarier looking.  You can dial the baby morph slowly and de-age Roxie into various adolescent stages. Unexpected but cool side effect. Clothing doesn't always appreciate the scaling, sorry. Use the smoothing brush liberally where it crinkles.

Elongated - a super long and tall fantasy body style. Because I could.

Male - There is a male body and male head as well as a MaleScaled dial.  TO fit clothing to Rox, you will need to make the Male body shape. The scaled parts will sort themselves out.

PBM - Partial body morphs. Sorted into body areas. All the usuals to adjust hips, belly, breasts and so forth

CloneWars - these are not proper clones, but approximations of the shape of Jessi 1 and Victoria 4. This was an experiment that unfortunetly didn't work out but I kept these morphs anyways.

Spandex - some spandex style morphs for smoothing out the body for use with secondskins. This includes one head morph to smooth out the ears for an under-hood look

Head Morphs - lots of them, many with no description. Well I never said I'd do everything :) Frankly I couldn't come up with names most of the time. Sorted into sections of the head. Not all head dials have Body controls, so USE THE DIALS IN HEAD.

I included two morphs specifically for anime style characters - anime_ears and anime_nose. These both smooth and reshape the areas for a more toonlike style. You are on your own for the rest of the face though. There are two Anime FBMS.

Mainly stock clothing with the RI morphs I added. The mans shirt was converted from m3, the diaper had no attribution, and the heels are from the Cheongsam Set which has a dynamic dress as well

I for my part am looking forward to this I love what I see and it should give us a ample grounds to play with and we can always do with versatility in Poser! Thanks for investing so much time into this!

For anyone waiting for the Rendo download :)

There is alittle problem with the lashes. My advise for other users, load the Roxie RC2 and move her a little bit to the left or right, load the original version of Roxie and copy the top and bottomlash materials from the original Roxie and paste it to Roxie RC2. Save Roxie RC2 again and the problem is solved.

hrm. I should have mentioned .. I used the patched Roxie figure, with the eyelashes attached. In the Materials folder for Roxie there is a separate material to apply the eyelashes.

I'm not entirely sure what will happen if you try to load this roxie into an unpatched poser ... I think they replaced the geometry so at the worst you will have some issues with eyelash materials. I'd suggest patching your poser to the most recent version anyways, it had some significant changes under the hood that at least for me seriously sped up my render times.

I only have a handful for poses made for Roxie. As with any morphed figure, morphs or scaling dials that change the size of the figrue radically will need poses to be adjusted. Not much to be done about it I'm afraid.

That is one very pregnant roxie! When I made my pregnancy morph I used a photo reference of a very nice lady over on Devart who makes stock photos and took some reference images when she was maybe a week out from her due date. I found it looked very differrent from the morph that was in the figure, I think the one I made was further along than theirs, after the baby had already dropped.

thank you all for downloading and using this figure! if anyone is curious I'm working on my next Improvement set - the MilDog. It sure needs the help.

yes I do intend to make a chihuahua for the mildog, Its a smoothcoated breed, so should be in the free set. If you want to know what other breeds I am doing please look at the American Kennel Clubs list of top 50 dog breeds for 2015, plus greyhounds, whippets, saluki and wild canids (wolves, foxes, hyenae). Once I have the rigging and bend morphs sorted I will publish a sorted list of what breeds are going in what set, mostly dependent on coat type. Please try to keep mildog related questions in that thread please? no need to confuse me any more than I am already:)

I never used Roxie even though I have her in the library. These morphs I have seen around. I like this fugre set she looks cuter pregnant. Is this morph set part of your morph pak Lyrra?

I do not know what morphs the person who made that image used . I think they used some of my Roxie morphs, but its hard to say. You'd have to ask them directly :)
