Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 10 8:20 am)
I don't think there is one answer here but you may find these suggestions helpful:-- If you save the rendered image as a TIF you can then use its Alpha channel as a mask.

Currently, my team and I are working on a project that requires character sprites. We would like to render the characters ground shadows along with the characters. The problem we are encountering is trying to maintain these ground shadows without also rendering a ground surface; we just want the resulting sprites and their shadows. Is there a logical way to accomplish this task either from within Poser or through a post-production application? Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. v/r Alexis
