Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 18 10:25 pm)
Can you click select it? Edit_ nevermind... I see that you can't. Humph. It's not showing as a prop or camera in the hierarchy? Try running the scene inventory script: list?

As an experiment you could save out another new .pz3 copy and see if the haunted camera still appears... ?

Buggy .cm2 file? If you open the .cm2 in a text editor it might reveal something. It basically just lists all scene cams and their settings, with active camera defined at the end of the file. Who knows?

Shrugs. Well there is some version specific code in Poser that was shut off in later versions, you can still conjure up this code by changing the version # in the various Poser files. An actor visibility .pz2 is an example of this. If you felt like more experimentation you could take one of the glitchy .cm2 files and change the version # to 7 at the start of file. Apply the modified version # .cm2 and see if it "switches off" the unusual behavior of the file.

I opened an old cm2-File (from Poser5) and got a strange wireframe camera in the center of the scene (only in preview mode). It's not possible to select the camera or make it invisible. I tried with an empty scene - there is nothing, just the ground - and the camera. I couldn't find out what camera it is. Any ideas ?? I use Poser7.
