Does someone else have the same problem once the G3F conversion is done?

Here is what happens when I apply a preset (1) or when I dial a pose control (2):

Is there any way to turn off the bending limits in Poser all at once like it is done in DS? I tried with a text editor looking for all "forcelimits 1" and changing them to "0" and it does what it says but I get some weird results, I guess not all limits should be removed.

Try to change your decimal seperator to dot instead of comma, for me it worked and now even G3M works well in Poser 11.

I am having problems with DSON Importer for Poser 1.2.0.12. I tried to install version 1.1.3.50 but the 1.2.0.12 shows up in the DSON in Poser Pro 11.Any suggestion as I have necks that are dented? Cheers

I've been told that is a little problem with DSON 1.2, and that till a fix happens to go back to 1.1.3.50 and it won't happen to G3F or to G2's ankle.

I have just tried to install Poser Genesis 3 Updater on my Windows 10 Computer and I get this error.It installed fine on my Windows 7 machine.Any ideas. Cheers

I have solved the problem with Windows 10.If anybody is having problems installing the Updater wind the Compatibility to a previous version of Windows. Cheers

Whenn I installed the 1.1.3.50 I was asked to uninstall a previous version and th installer did it.

I have just found the answer to my question in this thread...:

We found the cause of the mesh explosion. It's due to the decimal separator issue. Some cultures use the comma (,) others use the period (.). I used Microsoft's recommend technique for convert to decimal value. Apparently, it doesn't work properly. (Insert Microsoft Here.) I hope to have an update soon.

Thank you very much for the update. I have installed it and I have reconverted the G3F file but the problem remains. The head still explodes when I dial a pose control...

I am not sure but perhaps that the update fixes the problem for other people...

I installed it too but, I had to uninstall the previous version first and then to reinstall the new version and now ist works well with the comma as decemator.

I have uninstalled the previous version but as I said the new version did not solve the problem for me. I will try again to see if it works. Well I keep my fingers crossed... ;)

OK well I did it. I have the necky problem, but it works ie i can change expressions. I am on mac by the way. I just used winebottler which is a free utility and makes the program think that windows is installed to create a little stand alone utility. I chose xp and it worked fine I think. I mean I can dial the expressions. But there is a black line around the figure typical of genesis in poser. I thought it would make a native poser figure that didn't need dson anymore, as I find that these daz genesis figures with black lines work too slowly on my computer and I can't say, have a whole crowd of them in a scene. I have tried again but for me the expressions do not work. I do not know what is happening because I have redone everything and I have removed all the files that I had exported and converted before. A mystery... I am going to post a request in the Willdial and Lululee G3F Poser converter forum...

Although I might never use this, it is nice to see that people who want to use G3F in Poser can now do it. Willdial and Lululee have done a very generous service for the community.

• I had some invisible clothing so I downloaded the earlier version of DSON from Daz that is * with the Genesis 2 figure essentials.
• I used the DSON Importer for Poser DSON Importer for Poser BETA (Inactive)
• It has to be the inactive one which is
• DSON_Importer_for_Poser_1.1.3.49_Win64.exe 1.2 doesn't work as well.
• I installed it in P11. It asked if I wanted to uninstall it and I said yes.

Hi Arrow1, It is best to save the materials as 3Delight because the shader structure does not work in Poser. You can use EZSkin 3 to add the shader structure. Cheerio lululee

I do not know how you are all installing the •DSON_Importer_for_Poser_1.1.3.49_Win64.exe. I have Installed Genesis 2 Starter Essentials and downloaded and installed the 1.1.Clicked uninstall then installed 1.1 version.1.2 still shows up in the DSON preferences. What am I doing wrong? Cheers

Many thanks everyone. I have managed to get DSON 1.1 installed finally. I had to uninstall Poser Pro 11 then reinstall it. I then installed the DSON for Poser 1.1.What I am finding is the library does not update straight away. Sometimes I have to close Poser 11 then reopen to get my DSON conversions to show. One last question.( I hope) Has anyone installed the expressions poses from DAZ Studio seeing they show up in the parameters? I was wondering if if there is any advantage if so do we save them as poses or FC2'S? Cheers

Just wanted to pop in and say a big "Thank you". I wanted to try this script when you first released it, but the main reason I don't use DS is because of the content interface. It has taken me several installs of DS and the content to actually get Genesis 3 working in DS. After that I had problems with an invisible Gen3 appearing in Poser. I finally had another go this morning and managed to get the base G3 figure into Poser.

After that, I installed the “Genesis 3 To Poser” utility by willdial and it worked instantly. Thank you very much.

If you are referring to the scene lag when moving or posing any Genesis, the solution is to change subdivision to zero. The default value for SubD is 1 when the figures are loaded through DSON. Change the value before performing any posing or scene changes.

Also realize, if you are loading multiple copies of the same figure, they do come in laden with whatever morph packages exist in DAZStudio. If you have dozens of packages loaded in Studio, you will have a rather larger figure file to deal with in Poser. At least with G3F in Poser, no other added morphs to DAZStudio will appear after generating a .cr2.

IIRC, in another post, changing the subD to zero might make her reappear. I haven't had any visibility problems so I can't elaborate any further on this issue.

Right now, our best theory is that Genesis 3, the Subscene Triax file, and the Poser Companion Files need to be installed into a Content/Runtime folder that Poser knows about.

Everything should be linked to each app. That is my understanding and I have that arrangement on my system.

Ditto here, A figure loads but every body part is set to ZERO, I tried changing things back to 100% but nothing appears

May I show you all that Genesis 3 Male is importable to Poser pro 11 with Head morphs working, and that mesh resolution and light setting needs tweaking to overcome the mesh grid lines showing in Poser Pro 11:-

So happy about G3 in Poser. Long anticipated. I like Daz and it has added to the 3d game a lot (especially with some of the best characters). However, Poser still has a lot of things Daz can not do. G3 inside Poser "dangerous." Now if some one can just get G3 in as a Cr2 working. But, maybe I'm asking too much...

Are you using 1.1.3.49 (or 1.1.3.50; they appear to be the same)? The former should be in your DAZ product Library if you've had the Importer for a while; I don't know if latecomers get access to the Beta.

I install it using the downloaded installer rather than via DIM. Uninstall whatever Importer version is there, and make sure the Runtime\Python\addons\dson and the Runtime\Python\poserScripts\ScriptsMenu\DSON Support folders in your Poser 11 program folder are gone. Then install the importer to the Poser 11 program folder, and restart Poser.

hm i have another Problem with the G3F I can load her in Poser 11 Pro but only with 1-2 Morphs Most are missing.

Ok, found the Error. The DAZ Connect Download is the Error Source. A New Manuell Install and no Problems :)

Hi, so what version is the G3 Poser Importer now? Also, there are morphs for the face, expressions, that don't do much if anything at all. I bought, installed FW Livia G3F character, and loaded, applied the MATS got it out of DS 4.8 and into Poser Pro 11 SR2. I have no clothes in Poser for it, no poses. Any idea if this will eventually work "straight up" in Poser like Genesis 2 does? McG.
