Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 24 8:11 pm)
Do a search of where you keep your runtimes for '!DAZ', and make sure there is only one set of files for each Gen 4 figure in among any Runtime/Libraries/!DAZ/ folders there are. Each figure will have a subfolder in this folder, eg, 'Runtime/Libraries/!DAZ/Victoria 4' and if there are duplicates, they need to be consolidated and the figures reinitialized.
There can also be a similar issue with Genesis 1 and 2 figures.. The issue in my case was multiple 'auto_adapted' folders generated by the DSON importer due to the Writable Runtime Folder in the Importer Preferences being set to different locations in PP 2014 and Poser 11...

I've had V4/M4/K4 through many versions of Poser. I notice that some morph dials don't seem to work with the models or more often their clothing in many situations. I assume it's placement of some key DAZ files in my runtimes that are causing this problem. I've read on this and am only becoming even more confused. I have these models themselves installed on older Poser versions but am using them in PP11. What files do I need to copy/paste to where in PP11 to alleviate this issue. I realize I should understand all this after all these years, but I'm getting more confused than informed it seems. Care to enlighten me? Make it simple guys. I'm smart, but I do get confused easily. (just ask bagginsbill!)
