Subject: Question about mapping models

Hi everybody, Does anybody know how the guys from DAZ do the mapping of their models? Are they using a extra program or is it just a lot of handwork? When I'm using a planar UV Map the front and the back surely looks good but the sides and top of the model are looking blurry and stretched. It's almost the same when i'm using a cylindrical UV Map. So, can anybody help me with that?

Have you tried the Select by Vertex option? You can use it to stretch out the sides.

Yes, but I hoped that there is an easier way to it. I just found a better UVW Unwrap Modifier for 3ds max with a "soft selection" option that makes the whole thing alot more easier. Thank's for your reply!
