Subject: conforming patches to a figure's clothes

I'm using the M4 Air Crew Flight Suit but I want to add some patches to the suit. I created a patch in 3ds max and imported it into Poser 2014. I am able to link it to the suit's left shoulder, but I am unable to see how to make the patch conform to the sleeve like the patches that came with it. I'm not sure if morphs are involved or not. I've attached a picture where you can see the patch is in the right place but is flat and not conforming to the shape of the sleeve.conforming patch.jpg

Either:-

Parent it to the M4 left shoulder and check the "Inherit Bends" box.

Or:- You'll have to make it into a figure and conform it to M4. Suggest you use the Flight Suit CR2 as the donor rig.

Parenting it or conforming it to the clothing will not work.

I've parented the patch to both the M4 shoulder and the suit shoulder. both allow the patch to move with M4 but the patch still does not conform to the suit. in both instances I have checked to inherit bends of parent. The patch remains flat. You mentioned making the patch into a figure and copying the hierarchy of the flight suit to it. I've been unable to find a tutorial on how to create a figure from an object.

I got the patch to become a figure and its working the way I was hoping for. Except the texture wont render out. Its there in the materials room and assigned properly, but its lime green in rendering.
