The time has come to upgrade from Studio 3 to Studio 4 (Windows 10 problem). I just want to transfer my files across the same way I had set up in Studio 3. I'm hoping I can keep the same set up in Studio 4. (Custom runtimes and Folders).

You can leave the content where it is, and then somewhere in D/S4.x tell it where to look for content. [it's not on this computer so ? the exact terms atm]

Thanks boudicca36. The search found only a 1/4 of my content on my External HD. Maybe some of my stuff is not compatible with 4.9. But it's a starting point to go on. 😀 Vitachick . I do have an External HD set up. It is a handy setup when you get your computer service. The only thing that cause Daz 3 to crash or hang is that the Windows 10 I'm using is not an upgrade from 7. Thanks for the advice. 😀

I know some of the stuff from D/S4.0 days for example, will not show in more recent editions of D/S so yes, that might be the situation. However if you have the .obj files [or can make them via exporting] it might be able to remake your work. In D/S4.x we have all the content creation tools :-)
