Subject: O/T Windows10 Update

Windows 10 updated overnight and wiped my DIM and all my DAZ,Poser and Vue Shortcuts and also all my saved Internet Favorite's and passwords.What a mess.I will have go and try and remember passwords and re download everything! Cheers

It was already Windows 10.It seems it was a major update. I don't set a backup as I do have the space and Windows takes hours to do It! Cheers

PS,I have two computers. One is Windows 10 Which I use mainly for emails, downloading and searching the Internet. I also have programs on it mainly for testing. My main computer is Windows 7 Ultimate in which I use for all my graphics work! Cheers

The last Win 10 to Win 10 minor update upset my workflow and knocked out half my apps couldn't connect to servers via DLM's so I am thinking there is a bit of an issue with that one. I had to do a in place reinstall of the OS just to get back on track.

Knock wood...I haven't had any problems with Windows 10 and my programs so far. But then I did a clean install and reinstalled all the software afterward. Never did like doing updates. Too many conflicts and irritating problems ;).

Doesn't sound as bad as you made it out to be, if all your real work is on Win 7 and Win 10 is: "mainly for emails, downloading and searching the Internet".

Good news.When I logged into my Win 10 Computer this morning everything came back to normal! Do not know what Microsoft is up too! Cheers
