It's possible I can shed some light on this. There is a site offering architectural models in what it calls 3dmf format, but the files have the extension .dw. It's an ASCII based format and Bryce won't read it. Nor will the xdsoft conversion program. If anyone has any more information about .dw format, please chip in!

Bryce for Windows will not import .3dmf files, this is the mac version of .3dmf and won't work (something about binary vs. ascii I think). Polytrans will do it, and that's the only app that I've found that works on PC. Polytrans is about $400. Try the downloadable demo version (the demo deletes every fifth polygon when converting files.)Attached Link: http://www.angelearth.org

I tried with Bryce 4.....and never had any luck.....now trying with Bryce5 .....still no luck.....anyone know if this is possible....or if there is another program that will switch these files to something Bryce will read???
