my poser upgrade will fool that I have installed the computer and laptop again no longer hold the activation code please help

is this a legit copy of poser that you've paid for?

That has happened to me before. What you have to do is, you have to file a support ticket and ask them to cancel all your activations, then when that is done your Poser will activate as normal.

I got this message from having it installed to many times. Had just gotten a new notebook. Because the old one developed a screen issue. Which I could not uninstall poser from. But also had it installed on my desktop. Once unregistered from the desktop. Was able to install on the new notebook. That I would be using it on mostly anyway. So if you are installing again because of a computer change, This could be the reason.

I'm having the same problem after installing a new ssd after my hd crashed on my desktop. Hoping SM will fix the problem soon.

I contacted support over at Smith Micro last night and they were very quick about getting back to me this morning so when I get home to my desktop hopefully it will go smooth. I'm anxious to see how poser responds on the new drive and with the relatively new graphics card. He also gave me a link to activation info if anyone is interested in reading up.

my desktop is not on the internet. would never be able to activate the new poser.

Actually there is an offline activation. I'm not sure how it works, but it involves downloading a file which you then transfer to your non-internet computer.

I've had to do the manual and it's not too much of a pain. Just need a thumb drive.
