Hello cake1,
Please make sure to email copyrights@renderosity.com if you ever have a future issue. We take a pretty hard stance against copyright violations to ensure that Renderosity's FreeStuff isn't used for illegal file sharing. As Kristi already mentioned, we can't know of every product everywhere, so it can be hard to completely 'prevent' but we do act promptly to move questionable items into our "holding" area to review the claims.

You have to pay $16 to get an invitation...hahahaha...So I've blasted around several social sites why pay for it when you can download (by me the original creator) for free from here at Renderosity. I have plans to report them through a couple of anti-piracy sites. As I'm incorporated...I sure I can find someone to help me out.
Been meaning to give a heads up here...tons of stuff and be some Rendo folks work is there too.

Huge thanks to Jenifer for stepping up here.

Well, it's been more than a day since this was brought to my attention and i let Renderosity know about it, and guess what, the "freebie" is still here at rendo: (link removed by Kendra) it's not listed in the freebie section, but a simple search on google on the product names lands you right in the correct page.
Could someone please just delete it? Thank you
Hello. I'm one of the admins at the Poser and Daz Studio Free Resources Wiki. As my site icon hints, I don't use the Genesis figures, so I'm not aware of what is or is not available as paid resources for the figure.
Not knowing that "Seven Wonders" is a paid resource, it was listed as a free resource on our wiki between August 30 and September 6. This means we may have sent some downloaders to the Renderosity page, believing that the download was legitimate.
For this, I offer my apologies.

Hey Renderosity
We have a long story together, don't we?
I have been a member here for so long that i just don't remember when. I have been one of the first to submit freebies here. I now create products for a living and to feed my kids and decided a long time ago to sell them some place else. Still no hard feelings.
I come here every now and then, check the gallery, the free stuff. I have even bought stuff here.
Today, it has been pointed out to me a new product in your freebie section: Here is the screen cap: https://gyazo.com/44cee3724c04afcea26fafb854237190
it just doesn't look like one of my products: they used the SAME PROMO: http://www.daz3d.com/7-wonders
No need to say i'm not really happy about having one of my paying products distributed for free here. No need to say i am not happy to see the said product has already be downloaded for free 246 times as i speak.
A lot of Torrent sites have finally been taken down recently, and i'm grateful for that as once more, this is not a hobby for me, this is how i feed my family, with hard work. SO now that torrent sites are down, is renderosity going to become the next place to share products?
Yes, it will be reported and yes, the products/freebie will be pull off, but after how many downloads?
So, Renderosity, my old, dear friend, what do you intend to do to prevent such problems in the future?
Best regards Cake One
