Subject: whether anyone else used old version

I find every time of updates of blend, which pc should be new configuration so that it can fit the new updates of blender. So it troubles me whether I should buy a new pc?And I do not be going to buy new pc. So I want to know whether anyone else used old version now? Thanks.

I really don't think that updating Blender should necessitate a computer upgrade. Performance improvements should actually make the reverse true.

It is better to do one thing well, than to do many things and excel at nothing.

Hmm, I used to use an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275, which only supports OpenGL 3.0. I never had any problems.

So if you feel that you need better OpenGL support, you're likely better off with upgrading your graphics, rather than your entire system.
