To scan virus but irayfreeimage.dll which was 'high danger risk'. I don't understand.Because it existed when daz was installed. Maybe algorism is not same with anti-software or system. Whether you have this dll under IRAY Thanks. a.jpgc.jpg

Hi atpo

This type of thing can happen I scanned the iray freeimage.dll with 3 AV's and it come up clean. I get the same thing in Photoshop on a image save using a plugin and never been able to figure it out.

There have been a lot of complaints at DAZ, recently, about AntiVirus programs removing this file! Your textures will go pink or purple if it's removed.

You are right the Anti-Virus programs have just added the file to their algorithms.

It's a safe file but you should check it just to be sure.

It's Kaspersky that is the main problem, I think one of the others does or did this too. I suspect if you get details from the report you will find it is the equivalent of a Heuristic alert - it doesn't claim that this is a specific virus, just that it thinks it possibly may be.

Thanks. Now I let it be sure since it is under IRAY folder.Because I searched some info on it,I find win32/virus is sort of virus but whether it is virus or not is depended on what is harmful.
