Angelina would make a good one and so would Catherine but why limit yourself? If you feel like it, go for it!

What infringement? This comes up so often in terms of so called celebrity likenesses but everyone forgets there's no copyright on a face, body shape and so forth. When it gets messy is when the likeness is named in a way as to identify with a real person. If, however, your superduper CZJ likeness is called Ethel Crust, there's nowt anyone can really do. Example, how many times do you walk past people who look like someone else? At least once a day, for sure. Chances are, some of those people look like someone famous. In fact, many people base their careers on looking like some famous bod or other. Elvis, Bowie, Freddie, Queen Liz...
Of course, there's always a chance some cash hungry lawyer or celeb may try it on in court. Then it's down to you to show the figure was based on Mavis Gloop down the street.
No, I'm not a lawyer and the fact I have very little respect for them should in no way influence your reading of my above comments. Nor should my sig line. :)

I have no intention of naming them after the celebrities. I'm actually trying to find a type to model. Personally, I think both Angelina and Catherine are very beautiful women, so I was just going after an opinion. I'm just trying to learn so tonight, I'm going to try laying out a facial design with Blender's grease pencil tool.
honestly? If I see another AJ morphed character I'll go rogue and start killing 3d modelers. There must be 15-20 of them for various Daz models. I'd much rather see young versions of older super models like Niki Taylor, Carol Alt, or Frederique Van Der Wal.

Jolie isn't, IMO, particularly attractive. In profile, she has a pronounced lower jaw and a droopy lower lip. Not, that is to say, any reflection on her as a person, or any abilities she may or may not have. Just to say I don't find her looks appealing. CZJ, otoh, is - or was in her younger days - rather pretty.
Of the current younger models and actresses, I think Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who) is astonishingly beautiful.

Heck, I'd like to see more unique like personalities ... Julie Newmar, Farrah Fawsett, a young Katherine Hepburn, Vivian Liegh, Judy Garland. These women were beautiful and had/have are great deal of character.

Another vote for Ms Newmar. Also, how about Elizabeth Montgomery? While you're at it, Lauren Bacall. With a "no boobs" morph, you could have instant David Bowie. :D

Yup. I believe the norks are a bit on the large side for Ms Mongomery, though. Damn good likeness, nevertheless.

I always thought the majority of the old-time actresses were gorgeous, and a good many of them have already been mentioned.
The one old-time actress I always thought was the most beautiful when I was growing up was Kim Novak.

Was trying to think of her name most of last night. All I could think of was "the one woman Sinatra never forgot".

Ta, Bill. Just for that, you will get first dibs at my new, updated Classic Dalek when it's finished. I've only just started it so don't hold your breath. Unless you want to turn an interesting shade of blue, that is.

That brings to mind a question. What color does an Andorian, a Na'vi or a Smurf turn when they hold their breath? ;-)

Okay. So I have two slices of bread and a toaster. I put the bread in the toaster and push the little handle down. Several seconds later toast pops up.
Where did the bread go?

Dead easy. Red. It's reasonable to assume they use cyanoglobin, or an equivalent. Therefore, like a boiled lobster, they go red.

Spooky.
Did you know most cats are scared of toasters? And bananas. And cucumbers. So, if you ever want to really freak a cat, make a toasted banana and cucumber sandwich.
Our cats, as it happens, don't care one way or the other about bananas. But then, our all cats are strange. Particularly Sioux. Very, very weird cats.

Now there's an idea for a character - and a link to Bill's Anthro thread -
Angelina the Cucumber Cat Alien. With blue skin, of course.

How many Angelina Jolie morphs have been released (both free and for purchase) anyway? More than I couple, of that I'm confident.
Sincerely,
Bill
That was my point. If you ad them up you get like 10 versions. There also were a couple of versions for V2. AJ has been done to death and I have no idea why people keep making new versions.

My goodness, this must be the first time someone has mentioned my morph. ! I've toyed for a long time whether to do 'Samantha' and 'Jeannie'. Candice by Jochen38 has long been held to be Charlize Theron. I can see the resemblance to Sam, although the nose is wrong, and lets face it - that's the most important feature !

I need validation. No one commented on my Pauline morph on page 1.
Heck, with a little more work, you could have her looking like the pic of Candice Patton that I posted. Yeah, the hair is busted and her bikini top is stabbing her in the collar, but she looks pretty good to me.

You guys and gals are slipping- no-one has mentioned Alan Alda :)
Seriously, morphs for Ava Gardner, Grace Kelly or Jane Fonda would be nice

I think the question was set forth so the person posting the thread could get a consensus so he/she can try to make a character that can be compared to the real thing to test their ability t creating characters. If not then I want a: Catherine Zeta Jones (before she married that idiot considered Hollywood royalty). Rachael Ward, Rachael McClish (the body builder), Barbra Eden, Rachel Weisz (Daniel Craigs wife), Maureen O,Hara, Capucine, Claudia Cardinale, Sofia Loren (young), Raquel Welch (young), Elke Sommer, ......on and on and on............

My first morphing attempt with Pauline. Yeah, I know it looks nothing like Jolie. And no I don't know what's up with the hair.
Ok looks nice but who do e compare it to in the real world. THe hair? I get all kinds of sheitz like that. I usually have to get rid of back facing polygons or not render it in any of the advanced render options like Firefly, etc. A lot of the older Poser stuff winds up with that kind of noise on it. Some of it can be fixed by the vendor(s) but a lot of it goes into the waste bin of you are no longer working in older versions of Poser it may have been originally made for. So you are using Poser figures and not any of the Millenium figures to create these characters?

My attempts at morphs and things of that nature are almost always going to be Poser-centric. Doesn't mean I don't like DAZ, but I like the Poser figures despite every body else detesting them. Plus, Pauline is a resource model, so I can do what I like.
BTW, I did use a Jolie reference pic for the morph. The overall shape of the head is definitely a younger Jolie's, around the time she did "Tomb Raider".

Catherine Zeta-Jones from 10-15 years ago or Angelina Joie from 10-15 years ago? Don't worry, I'm in no danger of infringement. No where near that good.
