Subject: textures turning blue

Hi, I thought I would dig my Poser 10 out of moth balls and start some texturing again... however my textures are turning blue and I'm not too sure what to do about it. I have made sure that the .png out of Photoshop is fine.. it's only when I go into 'materials' and try to add it to the model. It looks to me like a 'path' or 'gamma' thing.. says someone who doesn't know much about it. LOL Hope that someone here can help me. Lets see what do you need to know... Poser 10... Photoshop CS2 (I know.. old huh?) and I'm still using Mac.. Snow Leopard 10.6.8 Thanking you in advance. :) Screen shot 2016-11-18 at 9.29.09 AM.png

I get this problem when exporting png from Substance Painter, the advice was that Poser doesn't support 16bit but I never found a solution and still use IrfanView to batch convert png to png. Would be useful to find out the correct png format to load in Poser as it provides better quality than jpeg

Thanks Ironsoul... that could be a solution also.. will have to look into it. I know that almost everything I do is in .png and I am sure I used to use it when I last used Poser and Photoshop.. nothing has changed there.. still using all my old programs.. so it's just going to be a case of trial and error I guess. :) Still I aren't going to be doing heaps.. just me playing. LOL

@ironsoul Check this out and see if it works. You can change the color depth and dpi under advanced down bottom right corner FastStone

You will want the Photo Resizer app at the bottom

Many thanks Johnny I'll check it out.

chaylastorm - same experience with Substance painter to Poser, it used to work (except normal maps). The trouble was both Substance Painter and Poser went through an update cycle at the same time and I assumed it was a problem with SB based on their release notes.
