Subject: Posing G3F

I cannot seem to be able to manipulate Genesis 3 Female arms and legs etc to arrange a pose I want to create.Whenever I click say on the arms or legs all I get is an option for knees arms up or down! What is the secret of being able to select whatever body part I want and be able to pose it? Cheers

That doesn't sound right - which tool are you using (look to see which is checked in the Tools menu) and where are you looking when you see the Up/Down option?

Hi arrow1, In addition to the pose controls available, you can use the Transforms under the General Tab in the Parameters for Genesis 3 Female. There are bends and twists and ups and downs and others. The are located at each level under the G3F character. (ex: Hip, Left Shin etc.) Also there are separate entries for some bends and twists which is nice because they work very nicely.

I usually start with a pose and then use these transforms to get everything just the way I want it. I believe you are clicking on pose control where these additional "controls" are listed under General/Transforms/

Many thanks for your replies.I am mainly a Poser user where you can manipulate any body part by using the Parameters dial or by pulling and pushing.I looked for any video tutorials and I could not find any on making your own pose's. I like the Genesis 3 figures both male and female.DAZ Studio is a little complicated but once you get going it has a lot of potential.I use both Poser and DAZ Studio! Cheers
