I have a emergency.Gimp has no title in Forum,but many artists use it.I don't no what causes and how to deal with?Thanks.Error came out after 'gimp2.8.20' and 'gimp-help-2-2.8.2-en-setup' was installed. b.jpga.jpg

Hello I use GIMP but I have not had this problem. I did notice a post in the gimpchat.com

Hi atpo, Did you scroll down the page. It seems to be covering the problem you have. At least, they have some of the same error boxes that you posted here. Was it helpful to you or did it make sense to you?

I am interested in this since I use GIMP and that is the version I am using but I have not had the problem......yet!

Thanks Jack.I have seen it. Yes,I like it,too.It is free.And I cannot charge it because I don't know how to use GIMP well.I only can draw simply by gimp. And I don't how to do alpha channel and how to let image be so well,etc. I am newer by gimp.

Hi I learned most of what I know about GIMP from just trying things and lots of online tutorials both written and videos on Youtube and I think a few at Vimeo. Some were more helpful than others but I think that is mostly because we learn in different ways. You have to find the ones that work for you.

I think I agree with you, it would be nice to have a GIMP forum here at Renderosity so we can all learn new things. I started with Photoshop and when I first picked up GIMP I had a hard time with the interface differences but eventually I overcame the differences as I learned more.

Hey Atpo you may want to try Krita. it's a great paint program and it's free too.
