Subject: How to get Ds 4.9 to update when a texture map has been altered.

Hi, I'm in the latest build of 4.9. I'm developing a new texture. When I make changes in PS, save them and render again the changes do not show up. Can Ds update after I've saved new changes or do I have to open and close Ds every time I make a change to the texture map?

In the Surfaces tab's Options menu (top corner of the tab or right click the tab label itself) there is a function to refresh images, default keyboard short cut is Ctrl+I (PC).

Thanks so much for that really valuable info. I really appreciate it.

I've run across that too, didn't know there was the option to refresh, I was just renaming the texture each time since I am am playing with it anyway. It's nice to know that isn't necessary.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I allways saved the tex to a new name and loaded it new up to now, made it quite chaotic sometimes...
