I think I saw a post by Vyusur analyzing the new model (G8) and rigging. If I understood correctly, improvements in topology are minimum. Primary improvements are in weightmaps and rigging, which might not transfer to Carrara even if the figure loaded. Still, I'd probably buy a G8 character that could load in Carrara if it was similar to your Janette and Johnathon stuff and similar terms.

the Ana Lucia character for g8f.

was a bit extra work to get the lingerie on her, besides converting to blended, had to transfer the Ana body morph to the clothes, used the ds transfer utility, then save it as a new product to save the morph transfer, it didnt save doing a save subset

Olympia 8 having some troubles with 3 of the toes, not as severe as V8, but bad enough not to render her left foot shoeless.

also learned the make up is on pngs used with the DS lie.

Olympia's fiber eyebrows move with the pose controls. it doesn't come with any transferred morphs.

found transfering morphs from Olympia 8 to her eyebrows doesn't seem as tedious as i was afraid it would be.

the G8F eyelashes move with the pose controls, and comes with the base morphs, V8 and O8 morphs need transferring.

couple of corrective morphs on the toezeezes should do the trick.
