Subject: refund - paradise hair

wherty ( ) posted Thu, 13 July 2017 at 6:49 PM · edited Sun, 02 February 2025 at 1:53 AM

I purchased the paradise hair product but it does not work. I have contacted the creator 3dream and he continues to say that it is only for poser. He has not helped to correct the issue. The product clear states that there is a fit to v4 on the product page. Either provide assistance so the product will work in daz or refund my purchase as I can't get any use of it. Thanks.

Once an item is downloaded the vendor needs to approve any refunds. Please continue to work with the vendor, or ask the vendor if they will approve a refund. This is an OLDER product, and DS has changed greatly since this item was released. So this is really not the fault of the vendor. All items in the marketplace that were created for Daz Studio 4 and higher will have that software designation on the required software. Just for future reference. 😄

I have this product and it does work in DS 4.9. Can you be a bit clearer please about the problem you are having with the hair?

Please note that many vendors made items for V4 that were Poser only (before DS existed). That hair has been around for a very long time. There is also Daz Studio forum with many DS users who may be able to help you get it working properly in DS if you let them know the details, or post the details here so that tparo and/or others can help.

Best Regards.

Try selecting to "show hidden properties" under the parameter tab. When you bring some older items in to DAZ things like fits and morphs get hidden. Unhiding the properties will allow you to select them and use them.

Jenifer, Daz Studio existed before V4 came out. Yes, V4 has been out a long time but it hasn't been that long. The Daz studio program first came out in 2005. Victoria 4.0 was released in 2006.

I looked at the product page, it is a prop and not dynamic, so it should work. What problem are you having with it?

If you look at the product page you see that there is no mention for the use in Daz Studio. Poser only. The Vendor is under no obligation to fix * the problem * which is not a problem since this product was not intended for Daz Studio. However, I bought Paradise hair a long time ago and it works just fine in Daz Studio. Attached a quick render I made just now to show you. Paradise Hair.png
