I notice that in the Figure drop down list, everything appears in order of when it was added to the scene, so the last things you added are at the very bottom of the list. A lot of times, when I have a more complicated scene, I add my main characters last after I set up the scene which puts them at the very bottom of the list. is there a way to rearrange items in this list so the ones I work with more often are at the top of the list? I have Poser Pro 11. Thanks!

I use Netherworks' Scene Toy Pro sold at HiveWire 3D. It's a great little app that allows you to create groups and move things you want together into the same group. As an example, I have all my lights in a group, and all my cameras in a group. All clothing conformed, or parented, to a character, shows up listed together with the character. You can collapse each group you're not working with, so only the group you're interested in is fully expanded, and the Scene Toy window can be docked if you wish.

That looks awesome, but does it work on the Mac version of Poser? It doesn't say anywhere on the site.

Windows and Mac - the Mac should be OSX 10.4 or Higher

Thanks for responding adzan, as I had to open the Guide to see if it was mentioned there. I'm going to get in touch with someone at HW and see if it can't be noted on the product page. I think the Contributing Artists write up all the information for such purposes, and he probably didn't think about it because he mentioned it in the Guide.

Of course, you can't get the Guide until you've actually purchased and downloaded the product. It would be helpful if Python script products mentioned they work with both Mac and Windows.

Hi Miss B, Yes that's a good idea. When Joes' products were available at his own site and Runtime DNA I seem to recall that you could view the guides and or the readmes before you purchased the items, so it was easier to find out which software it worked with

I think Python is a cross platform language so it should work on all platforms, including OSX. If it doesn't work on a platform, it is because that system lacks a Python interpreter.

Everytime I change the 0 for a 1, the poser.ini file gets re-written with a 0 when I start Poser again. Any ideas how to fix this?

I found that there were two .ini files because poser place things in so many areas try the following Locate the Poser.ini

C:users - username - AppData - Roaming - Poser Pro - 11

Locate the line called

LIB_ITEMS_SERVER_SORT

Setting it to 1 from 0 fixed the problem for me. the "AppData" folder may be hidden and you will have to unhide it

I finally fixed it, turns out my preferred scene was changing the 1 back to 0 everytime, so I created a new preferred scene after switching to 1, and now all's peachy. Thanks for the reply all the same!
