Subject: real hard time with DAZ Studios

I am having a real hard time with DAZ Studios, Even things like PostgreSQL just will not work.
Anyhow is it easier to fit clothes etc etc to V7? I use a WM V4 and found a decent conversion process for clothes etc, but Pauline has been working great and I can convert everything from v4 to her and she is super flexible too I have been using poser since the late 90's P4 and up.

It's generally pretty easy to fit earlier generation clothes to later generation figures in DAZ with the exception of shoes, particularly high heels. That said, you should work with whichever program gives you the best results. If you are happy with Poser, stick to it. There is always going to be a learning curve with a new program. Frankly I prefer DAZ and I have tried both. I found DAZ to be easier. Some people don't.

Have you installed the POstgreSQL? It should install along with DS although there might be a separate installer when you first install - I can't remember. Which version of DS are you installing the latest is DS 4.9.4.122. I don't think the weight mapped V4 works in DS it was done for Posers weight mapping system which is different and DS has the Genesis range which are weight mapped.
