Subject: Vue on sale

Renderholic ( ) posted Mon, 16 October 2017 at 2:22 PM ยท edited Tue, 26 November 2024 at 1:38 AM

E-on has Vue on sale currently. Does anyone know how long the sale will last? I have emailed them twice trying to get a price on upgrading my Vue 2014 Studio to Vue 2016 Complete. I thought about sticking with Studio, but to add Ecopaint is another $99 and I'm thinking that Complete wouldn't be that much more. Any thoughts on this?

I am really unhappy with Eon right now. I emailed sales last week asking for a price on upgrading from 2014 studio to 2016 complete. I never got a reply. I checked their Facebook page today and found that today was the last day for the 30% off sale. I posted a query through Eon's website, but apparently it takes several days for sales to respond. So I tried to call them. I called the phone number for sales in US and Canada. All I got was French! Sorry, no can do. So I decided that I would go ahead and order 2016 Studio since today was the last day of the sale. I went to their website at 7 PM CT and the sale prices are gone! Come on! Normally online sales are good through midnight. I tried to contact them and make a purchase, but can't get a response so I guess they don't want my business. Sticking with my Vue 2014.

Sad to hear. I thought Eon was better than this.

Update. E-ON contacted me today and since I had sent a inquiry during the sale they will honor sale prices for me. There is not a direct path from Vue 2014 Studio to 2016 Complete. What I have to do is go 2014 Studio to 2016 Studio, then 2016 Studio to 2016 Complete. It will only cost $40 more than upgrading to 2016 Studio and buying Ecopaint for an additional $99. They really get you on the module prices! But once I have Complete, I will save money on future editions since I won't need to buy modules.

Still, stick with vue 9 as not paying anything up to 1,500 smakers or less every year for a program they stop patching as the new one comes out.
