Can anyone tell me where the textures are located for NPR renders?

When I go through the Vue menus for Render...

Render-->NPR Options--->Shader--->Texture

It gives me the following path:

First texture: "C:UsersadminDocumentse-on softwareVue xStream 2015"BitmapsNPRLevel01.jpg

Second texture "C:UsersadminDocumentse-on softwareVue xStream 2015BitmapsNPRLevel02.jpg"

Through to Ninth texture

However I can not find this path ""C:UsersadminDocumentse-on softwareVue xStream 2015BitmapsNPR" or a file named Level01.jpg or Level02.jpg ... or Level09.jpg

Also I have Vue Complete 2016 installed and not Vue xStream 2015 (never, ever owned xStream).

I'm curious what these Level0x.jpgs look like as I would love to attempt to create some of my own.

Any ideas?

Simple things first. Do you have hidden folders visible?

If a search of your drive does not reveal the location of Level01.jpg I would suggest it does not exist.

Hidden folders are turned off. I also ran Windows file explorer in Administrator mode.

Has anyone created any custom textures for Vue's NPR option?

Sometimes, my Photoshop will see image files that my Paint Shop Pro does not see. Depending on what app made the images and if it had full admin rights at the time.

I'm not browsing via Photoshop. I am browsing via the Windows File Explorer and running File Explorer as Administrator.

Yep. Me, too. That's why I been using my CS2 to browse folders lately where I have saved screen captures from video games. Since two Windows 10 updates ago, the OS has been hiding such files from me even with "show hidden files" turned on in Windows. CS2 shows my PNG and BMP files plain as day.

I did some hunting around. Windows 10 is now using a VirtualStore folder. It's been migrating my apps there for some reason. Found my files using Explorer now.

If it's Windows 10, I'd unhide all folders and system files and start my search in Libraries. Than go from there. Your folders will be unmerged, and easier to find in a list of them.

My files are all unhidden and I've also ran Windows File Explorer in Administrator mode. I find nothing.

Explorer won't find them. I don't know if Microsoft is going to change that or not. The UAC is a lost cause for them. So they are trying another way to keep users from seeing all their stuff. I was able to find all kinds of files on my drive using browsers from inside apps and going into my VirtualStore.

And I'll ask again, what was the UNC to the NPR textures you found?

I've been employed as a network server admin for 30+ years. Windows Server 2008 through to 2016. In the past I supported Novell Netware ,Netware on Suse Linux and Citrix Winframe 1.4 as well as Windows NT 3.51 in the past.

I've gone through my content and can find no NPR texture files, the entries are blank and the NPR folder does not contain any textures. Last patch I attempt to install was corrupted and failed which is not the first time with e-on. One thought is the install or update images were not built correctly. It would be interesting to know if anyone has NPR textures or if we are all missing them.

Running on Windiws 8.x, I see Vue 2016 NPR Styles presets at:

C:ProgramDatae-onsoftwareVue xStream 2016NPR StylesListed

And

C:UsersUSERNAMEAppDataRoaminge-on softwareVue xStream 2016ConfigCollectionsNPR Styles

Also empty folders for them at:

C:UsersUSERNAMEAppDataRoaminge-on softwareVue xStream 2016ConfigCollectionsActivationNPR Styles

And

C:UsersUSERNAMEAppDataRoaminge-on softwareVue xStream 2016ConfigSelection PresetsNPR Styles

However, no BitmapsNPRLevel02.jpg etc. Possibly they're being generated procedurally 'on-the-fly', according to the preset settings, and then wiped after the render completes?
