In the full version there are SO many morphs, it took me a day to try them all out.
Compared to V4, it’s like you get the addon morph packs and many different characters including HR textures all in one with PE Early Edition. And for such a low price!
I LOVE HER!!!!! And thanks for the free expressions. I will definitely get them.
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
I have got the hang of the clothes fitting as you can see.
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
I did have to use the morphing brush a bit but i have learnt to do conversions a bit better after this one.
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
and because i toon and postwork pictures for my comic, i had to try PE...

She scales amazingly. I can make lots of different age groups and builds etc.

Posing her is much easier than with V4 I find.

It is a big value what you get for that money. When I think about the V4 Pro package I bought with IIRC 3 Cars, OK a little bit more dresses, that is a big difference and direct out of the box she is beautiful

Downloaded and installed the Demo version. Early days but it does seem to work - with limits - in PP 2012. More later.

Hey just a quick message to let you all know I'm reading all the amazing and enthusiastic responses and reactions to PE! I confess I'm helluva nervous, the response is pretty overwhelming, but its awesome to see everyone just digging into the figure and keeping an open mind. The next step will be the content and apparently Karanta already released something over here at Rosity!!!! <3
Also I wanna say that if you're a vendor and you're interested in making content for her, but you're experiencing difficulty, please contact me if you need help or have questions (erogenesis.artATgmail.com). I'll probably also add you to the private forums so that you can discuss with other peeps how to do this and that.
So far I think everyone has gotten the point, that slight imperfections are to be expected. I will try get some centering poses added and maybe make it possible to ground some of the poses already in the package. Again its an absolute thrill to see people just fire her up and just get results immediately. Thank you for buying her, thank you for checking her out!
@tiggersprings: I heard about that. I think she just got caught in the tail of the new years sale that was still going on. I think it was only the dev kit that got a discount.
@avlon123: I have no concrete plans for that yet, but I will give it a think. I do realize it could be fun to have PE in a game but we'll have to think about how to set up that license.
@esther: I really really wanted to add some poses that would work with panko's weapons but didn't have time. I'll try add them to an update.
@robzhena: coool!

It was both. The base was $22 and some change and the dev kit was $3 and some change. I had downloaded the PDFs and readme to look over to see if I wanted to try to register for the site and at least try the demo today.
Based on what I've seen so far, after playing with the Demo version in PP 2012, I will definitely be buying the full version as soon as possible. An absolutely superb figure.
One thing I discovered - which incidentally also works with Bella - selecting "Poser" from the Skinning Method options makes it work much better in my version of Poser. So, maybe not ideal but at least a workaround which gives some functionality,

I love the way she bends and moves and stuff! She is a wonderful figure!!
Unfortunately I have not had a bit of luck fitting V4's cloths to her..spent all day yesterday trying, using the instructions with the mannequins and such..no luck I do hope some of the awesome vendors make some great stuff for her!!
Congrats on PE's release and good reviews. Does bytes do paypal ? Maybe do some real good youtube vids with the mannequins fitting V4's cloths. Youtubes selections of texturing can't say are extensive .feel free to make some real good texturing vids also. between the flu, new pc n texturing problems . haven't been around much but I hope PE does really good.

Well, I'm not good in modelling clothes but with the mannequins and the instructions it was really easy for me to convert V4 clothes to PE. They fit perfectly. Until now I have only little problems with shoes but IMO I used to much bones in the feet, I'll try a little bit more.

Indeed for shoes try to do them one by one and when working on the left shoe move the right foot/shoe out of the way and vice versa, The feet are quite close together on zero pose so the morph copy process of one foot may be contaminated by 'cross talk' from te other foot.
I had posted earlier that I was having issues with fitting V4's clothing to PE.
Erogenesis helped me along by posting some slightly altered instructions, which worked perfectly for me!
I was sooo excited to finally be able to fit Hongyu's Cowgirl jeans to PE!!
Here is a pic of her wearing them and the hair fits perfect with no alteration! It is Bolina Hair.
Erogenesis you rock!! Many Thanks!

You are not alone...
It's fairly easy to convert "street clothes" [i.e. pants / jeans and top] See the last post in my gallery... I converted BDUs, a Tac Vest, and boots from clothing sets by Billy-T but I've had similar trouble using the fitting room to convert full length dresses such as "Sensibility". Also sandals seem to be an issue. I've converted most of Renapd's "Semiramis" set with the exception of the sandals.
It might be my inexperience with the fitting room though... So I guess I'll have to learn more about the fitting room before "When in trouble or in doubt / Run in circles and scream and shout" will apply.

Hi Gishzida!
Yea it is not all that easy for peeps not all that familiar with the fitting room. I posted about my problem to CGBytes and Erogenesis responded with instructions on how to get it to work. Let me post the procedure that Erogenesis told me to follow:
This was for a pair of jeans I was trying to fit to her but I am sure you can try any other clothing using these instructions. I hope this helps you!!

- load V4, inject the PE shape
- load the jeans, conform to V4
- bring the Jeans to the shape of PE by passing on the PE morph injected into V4( I just did the "copy morphs from V4 method"
- you can leave those jeans conformed to V4
- load the skintight mannequin, just leave it, don't conform it to anything
- in fitting room: jeans are the object (do not zero), mannequin is the goal (do zero)
- create figure: transfer morphs, autogroup, zero
- once done, back in the pose room, 'transfer Joint zones' from mannequin
- then load PE
- conform new jeans to PE (remove old jeans, V4 and mannequin if you want)
This was for a pair of jeans I was trying to fit to her but I am sure you can try any other clothing using these instructions. I hope this helps you!!
Saw your post there and Ero's response [We are running him ragged! Thanks for all your hard work Ero!]
I tried it. It didn't work. The long sleeves of the dress are too far out of alignment to the PE morph. The sleeves end up fitting over nothing.
It's too bad there isn't a upper body morph for v4 clothing to fix that.... hmmmm.... wonder if I could do that with a morph...

I have that dress Sensibility. I have my big computer shut down now and am in "watching TV mode" but in the morning I will give Sensibility a try and see if I get the same issues you do.
Yep..giving Ero a real work out! He has the flu so hopefully he will just rest up and get well before diving in to help us with our problems!

I think I read somewhere that some of her dials aren't operational as yet. They're for future work that's still on-going and to be released at a later date. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong ? So far, I'm having a lot of fun playing with her..especially her facial rig dials :)
Ah OK I see now. Thanks for posting about it..I wasnt aware of this yet. She is a work in progress so maybe those items will come available later on! Thanks!

I took a second try at it by exporting it as an obj file then importing it in again. I took it to the cloth room did a simulation to drape it then took it to the fitting room and made it into a conforming dress and re-added the morphs from V4 [with the PE morph]. I did not re-run the fitting against V4... but the fit from the cloth room did give it a bit of a dumpy look. I then ran a fit of the dress against the Dress mannequin but that didn't work either... I ended up with flat arms on top of the mannequin [rather than through the sleeves] and a split in the front of the skirt skirt [not suitable for a proper am English miss to wear in the colonial Raj of south asia!
I'll give it another go later today...
Did you use weld identical vertices when you imported? Did you use the dress mannequin?
I have no time to look or test now on this dress. Results of these transfers depend on the original material. I had best results with a dress like Sensibility with it grouped 'abdomen' all the way down and in the cloth room clothify the abdomen group; so conform where tight and dynamic where loose.
I am stumped by the enthusiasm I'm seeing everywhere. Yes I'm sick as a dog but I still do my best to follow everything hehe. Thank you for buying and playing with her guys!
The basic theory behind the fitting rooms with PE is to:
That's basically it. There are many ways to achieve step 1:
Point is, it really doesn't matter how you get the garment to fit, as long as it somehow sits OVER PE's mesh before you start rigging it in the fitting room. So gish you need to pull those arms back somehow. If they didn't get pulled along with the PE morph, then that's strange and I'll have to investigate why that is.
A few pointers for the process:
Also, indeed if the fitting room is too much for you, don't worry. It is indeed not the easiest of processes but 1. vendors are watching and I know there are garments in the works (give them time like you did with me, hehe), and 2. I bloody well hope SM are watching too so that they now have an incentive to improve and weaponize the fitting room.

OK I tried it with a dress with sleeves and it seems to be ok. Here are some steps:
This is the dress on V4:
After you inject the PE shape and transfer it to the dress too...
...it should look like this:
Here's the view from the arms to prove it works:
V4:
and then PE:
now load the dress mannequin:
throw it through fitting room using these settings (manual has much more detailed instructions about how to avoid the handles interfering):
And boom, it should work:
I did move the right dress handle forward a bit for a pokey, but the rest is fresh from the fitting room. Never forget to re-transfer the joint zones (weight maps) after it comes back from the fitting room. Manual tells all!

I am stumped by the enthusiasm I'm seeing everywhere. Yes I'm sick as a dog but I still do my best to follow everything hehe. Thank you for buying and playing with her guys!
The basic theory behind the fitting rooms with PE is to:
- get whatever garment you want to first 'appear to fit' PE's shape (so not by conforming or parenting, just by having it in the scene over a zero'ed PE, or rather a zero'ed mannequin).
- then slap some PE bones on it (through fitting room's create 'figure button')
That's basically it. There are many ways to achieve step 1:
- If it was made for PE the garment will already 'fit' the shape.
- If its a V4 garment: load V4. Zero her (like proper zero zero). Inject PE's shape provided. Load a V4 garment. Transfer PE's shape to that garment (check all conforming attributes)
- If its a V4 garment you can also try and scale and rotate the garment to 'fit' PE. Shoes work best like this. There is a pose available that provides a rough fit without injection.
- You can zBrush (GoZ) it to fit.
- You can use the morph brush in Poser to make it fit.
- One could use the fitting room tools... (I never do, they confuse me. So rather don't go there gish)
- never at any point conform the mannequins to anything (not V4 or PE). They're just there to pass along information.
- Don't conform a V4 item directly to PE = hell on earth. Just bring it to shape (like mentioned above), then make a converted version using that shape, and THAT converted version, will fit PE.
- You can keep your injected V4 + conformed garment in the scene along with the mannequins and PE while converting. No need to hide them or anything. The mannequins can hang around at the back of the scene, they get zero'ed in the fitting room anyway. V4 and her garment needs to stay in the middle though.
I think that is where I may have had the "blow up" issue...I was conforming the mannequin to PE.
The instructions for the mannequin may need to be fixed then because on step 2 it tells us to bring in PE and drag the mannequin on top of her (to conform).
I no longer am having this problem..also..I was loading in PE instead of V4.
I may have interpreted it wrong too because no one else seems to have had this problem! At any rate..sooo glad we got it figured out! She is a fantastic figure for us to get to know! Bravo Ero! !
I tried the Sensibility Dress and noted that before I checked the When Conforming areas under Properties, the sleeves did hover above the arms as you mentioned Gishzida. When I checked the boxes under When Conforming the sleeves popped into place.
There is a area just below the hip area where I think the dress may have torn..there is a couple small holes in the dress...
I put a different texture on the dress..of course that wouldn't fix it but thought it might now show as bad as the blue texture did.

I had a similar abdominal tear with a converted V4 Spacesuit. I wondering if the autogroup feature in the Fitting Room is responsible for the anomaly. Need to test further, otherwise, the posing and bending were phenomenal without poke through. I would post, but not at my computer ATM.
That very well may be it..I am not sure how the dress would convert not choosing that autogroup but it would certainly worth giving it a try!
