Hi there,

Having downloaded and following the instructions for V4WM, .... I cannot find the under the Poser/Scripts Menu a category named Poseplace as outlined in the V4WM pdf. I have checked my installation : Poser 11 ContentRuntimePythonPoserPlace and the folder and file is there. Its just not showing up in my Poser/scripts menu. Been away from Poser for quite a while and have just ungraded to Poser V11.1 so I'm in the process of starting a fresh.

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. (running windows 7/64)

Bearing in mind that I too have been away from Poser for ages ... I think you need to add the desired script to a button first? 💭

Poserplace is the Folder that will be installed, if you download the V4WM and install it.

V4WM from PoserPlace is available, as far as I know, at renderotica but keep in mind that there is a lot of stuff that would violate the TOS of Renderosity, not only nudity.

I haven't tried V4WM, but I just tried another V4 improved model, Sasha-16 and I'm very impressed. The instructions are easy to follow, and the changes smart. S-16 has features for erotic art that aren't relevant to many of us, but they can be turned off or simply ignored, of course.

There have been changes to Python over time. This means that older scripts may not run on Poser 9 and 10, Not all scripts that ran on Poser 10 work on Poser 11. That said, I don't know how to help you.

I just saw it, you installed the Python script under Poser Content. I t has to be in that directory where Poser is installed.

Agree and verified. The script needs to be in the main Poser directory. @willshetterly: although SASHA-16 is a great addition to the V4 family and works quite well as a WM figure, it does not accept all V4 morph packages. It would be frustrating for a new user, or returning, user to figure out exactly what the problems are without reliable resources immediately available.

Hello,

Thanks for ALL the help and advice. Jules53757 I have now re-installed my poserplace folder into the following:

C:Program FilesSmith MicroPoser 11RuntimePythonposerScripts ............. (my main POSER installation)

However the folder is still not showing/available in my Poser 11.1 menu/scripts option.

I will probably un-install POSER 11.1 and try a re-installation to see if that solves the issue, and let you know how I get on. I'm pretty sure I have done everything the same as I did in Poser 2014 pro and it worked fine.

Hi Everyone,

Ok, I've found some different V4WM documentation, which now clearly defines the location of the Poserplace folder. I had placed the Poserplace FOLDER into the poserScripts FOLDER,....... whereas the correct location for this folder is in the ScriptsMenu FOLDER.

For Poser 11.1 as below: C:Program FilesSmith MicroPoser 11RuntimePythonposerScriptsScriptsMenuPoserPlace

Now it appears in the Poser menu as expected.

I agree, Sasha 16 is an awesome solution to make V4 more modern. The only morphs that don't work well are the Creature Creator morphs. I recommend using here over the V4WM due to not having to convert clothing, but to each their own.
