Subject: Importing OBJ's into Daz Studio.

Hi all,

I've just started using Daz Studio 4.10 and have a question I hope someone can help me with. When I import an OBJ into the scene it usually ends up being huge in scale and off screen somewhere. Is there a setting I need to use to scale it to roughly the size of a G8 figure or vehicle I have loaded from with in DS and place it into the position of the figure. Any advice would be appreciated thanks. Mike.

When you import an object you have to select the program that created the object file e. g. from Poser there is 1 Unit = 8 ft.

Another idea is once you import and scale it to where it needs to be, export it again with DAZ scale and then re-import with DAZ scale and it will be the size you want always with no scaling.
