DAZ|Studio F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 28 3:41 pm)
For myself using DIM for installation makes life a lot easier. I believe the Daz Studio 4.x Pro indicates the latest version of Daz Studio which is currently 4.10. Whether you are using manual install or using DIM, installing the latest version of DS doesn't require you to remove the old version. The installer will handle this for you when it ran.
Thanks .I'll give that a try.I was a little uncertain as I had tried to search this online and it seemed that many people had had problems with having both DAZ Studio 4.9 and DAZ Studio 4.x on their system and that the path to the 4.x version of DAZ didn't seem to work .It kept going to the 4.9 version of DAZ Studio.

As someone who has only ever used Poser .I am finding it hard to work out what I need to do with regards to DAZ Studio 4.9 which I downloaded sometime ago and installed on my computer but have never got around to using it .So I finally decided to buy some DAZ originals from DAZ and find I have DAZ Studio 4.x in my account content.Which seems to be a whole new version of DAZ Studio. So my question is what should I do? As I have never installed the install manager on my system .Will DAZ 4.x remove the older version of DAZ 4.9 ? Or should I remove DAZ from my system manually first and then do a fresh install of DAZ studio 4.x ?
