Subject: Is this normal in POSER

Just wondering is this normal in Poser... I was trying to put 2 figures, both mm girls, in the same scene. I wanted to change the body shapes, making 1 of them taller and heaver. If scale one , the other one follows suit. Is that normal? If so is possible to get around this? niles

yeah get your characters saved in your libaries first then import thenm one at a time then pose,i think you might not have differant names and poser says p4 scale and poser re-scales all p4 or whatever you got them named and another thing you might try bringing screenshots with you to post so everyone can see whats going on,at least somethings that are going on....does this make sense?anyhoo i try that and if it doesnt work then through your computer out the window but tell eveyone where you live first......just joking!!!!!!!

Dont know what you mean with mmgirls. There is a problem called crosstalk that happens with viccy2 if you have 2 of them in one scene.Think thats it.but i dont know any solution.do a search her or at DAZ

Vicks and the millie girls both share the crosstalk problem.. someone did up a null figure to avoid this. what you do.. is load the first figure.. tehn the null.. and with the null selected you load in the second.. I think 8 ) I"m not certain who did it.. I'm thinking either jaager, nerd or maybe even phil... let me check the readthis... boy I feel foolish... it was done by rbtwhiz 8 ) but this is a case if you never read a readme.. read the one incloded in millenium null.. everything you have to know is in there. 8 ) sorry rob 8

Yeah, it's not like DAZ is concerned about it or anything....

Questor ( ) posted Tue, 16 October 2001 at 6:01 AM

In all fairness I should imagine DAZ is concerned about it, but it's a Poser quirk, not one of the characters themselves. What can you do? Poser interprets certain things in a certain way. Perhaps version 5 will address problems like this. :)

Oh Wizzard, the link is wrong. :) http://www.rbtwhiz.com For some reason you have www.renderosity.com in front of Rob's address. :)

oops! thanks quest.. I didn't bother to double check it 8

Questor ( ) posted Tue, 16 October 2001 at 6:08 AM

Oh, it took me a while to figure out where the file is. You can find the Millenium People null loader in the tutorial section regarding ERC Explained. You'll need this thing in order to cancel the cross talk problems. Also, it's worth reading the tutorial, lots of interesting information in there.

Questor ( ) posted Tue, 16 October 2001 at 6:09 AM

That's OK Wizzard. I just wish you could edit posts here rather than having to post again, and again, and... :)

MikeJ ( ) posted Tue, 16 October 2001 at 6:12 AM

Oh, OK, I hadn't thought to blame Poser for it, since I don't think I ever saw it happen prior to V2. Sorry. :)

rodpanther ( ) posted Tue, 16 October 2001 at 1:46 PM

Null figure in downloads section, Its just a type link "millenium null fix" under the pics of all the free downloads like clothes, props etc The file contains the fix and an extensive readme God Bless rodpanther

LOL... thanks Rod, I didn't see that link there and I did look, no, honest I did. :) I finally found it in the ERC tutorial. Heh, I guess I need to get new glasses huh? :)
