Subject: Looking for a Vicky eyebrow morph

Hello, I'm in desperate need of a morph that will make Vickie's eyebrows thinner. I've got some great textures with thinner eyebrows, but of course when rendered, you can still see the bevel of the large eyebrows. I looked in the morph section in the free stuff... couldn't find anything usefull... Anyone know where to find a/some morphs that make Victoria's eyebrows thinner? Thanks a bunch, -Zero

Please explain what you mean by the bevel? Is there a highlight on the eyebrow? Sometimes that will make a little shiny spot on the transparent part of the eyebrow...that can be fixed in the materials. Just make the highlight black. Laurie

Zero, You should select the face and then look for the "brows gone" dial on the right... If you set that to 1 the brows will dissapear and only the once that are on the texture you are using will show when rendering... Hope this helps, Caro

check out the tutorial I have on texturing victoria, you don't need a morph, you need to correct your settings.

If you are using a transmap to produce the thinner brows and the sharp bend = forehead to eye socket is showing up below the brow? The problem is that many of us doing the transmaps got it wrong. We put the map up too high on the mesh. The center is the wrong place. I have not explored the proper location yet, but it is a problem of texturing. That bony angle is where the fur should be. Now that I think about it - I think the modeler may have misplaced mesh. It may be easier to do a morph to drag the whole thing down. As for those who do not know how to use the upperbrows? Advocating that others follow your example, is like bragging about not knowing how to get your car out of first gear.

Based on the morph I just did, the center of the transmaps on the upperbrow mesh should be lower. The ghost on the head goes away when the brows are in the correct place. Now, I have to decide if it is better to use a morph to correct transmaps, or fix the transmaps. I discovered that I cannot use the trick of using the materials definition to isolate parts of the head- like the UpperBrows. RDS will let me select the upperbrows with a double click all right (if I change usemtl UpperBrows to g Upperbrows before I open the mesh in MFM. The morph is really messed up though. This just does not work. So if I suggested using materials as a way to isolate parts for morphing in RDS, don't do it. The parts will isolate. But RDS does something unwanted on its own in addition to the morph.
