Subject: Downsizing my runtime

How do i get about downsizing my runtime, finding old poser cr2 obj and texture that match.

I can't think of any quick way of doing that. There are products that will allow you to figure out file dependencies, .cr2 files are basically scripts that load other files, and have the full relative paths of those other files in them. Opening them and checking them manually would be a major pain. I would pick up a program that would help you get a listing and run your purge from that output. You are specifying Poser content on a DAZ forum so I assume you are not using Poser. In any case, Check out Dimsension3D store, it has a lot of utilities that might be useful for that.

I'd imagine you could get someone to write you a powershell script as well; depends how important doing this is. Good luck.

There's freeware that I use called WinDirStat. It gives you a visual "block chart" of where your largest files are. Point it at the Content folder above your runtime, and let it index it. Then you can see what's hogging big chunks of space, and delete it. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/7/72/Windirstat.png/1200px-Windirstat.png

P3DO pro would do that.

Click on the icon labeled "Move CR2" in the product presentation. This will work with any Poser file with internal references (Figures, hairs, Materials, Collections). However it won't find the materials and Poses related to the figure or scene. But you generally can figure this out yourself.
There's another unisntall tool called ZipInstaller (icon labelled Unzip). Provided you still have the original ZIP install file and you didn't moved files around (ZipInstaller is using ZIP path to find the files), ZipInstaller will find the files on your HD. It is not as fast as the Scene Manager plugin since you will have to process the ZIPs one by one.
