One of those previous renders could be considered a premonition yet in real life it wasn't a heavy book that took me down and almost turned this thread into my legacy. Though as they say here "onkruid vergaat niet" (bad weeds don't perish) so after one and a half month in hospital I'm back, (almost) as good as new.

As part of my revalidation I spent many hours cycling one of these contraptions. The "biketrainer" was available at the now defunct Ontarget3D site, don't know if it's still available elsewhere.

I can't make any new building props but I can dig up unfinished WIP's and maybe some of those can be uploaded.

This one is from my short stay at Smith Micro.

From the same period dates this Border Crossing. The building is finished but without any extra details such as barriers. By day.

By night. The only real light is an area light in an office (with that green shine of old TL tubes). The other lights are emission from the physical surface node.

The other side of that building by night. The windows are now emitting light.

That was "how to order fries and a little something on the side" at a "frituur" in Belgium. A place I should stay away from unfortunately. Unless I want to spend some more time in hospital - if I am lucky. The sign on the van needs to be redone before release. Or rather the text, which should be changed in a very readable font.

THE NO RETURN INN

The inn (actually a pub) has 2 entrances, the "saloon" for the more upper classes, the "public" for the lower classes.

The redecorated "1910 Bus" is not included. You can find it at Vanishing Point. It's a poserised former De Espona 3D model which in turn is based on an Airfix plastic model kit. No scantily clad women, they did leave the UK too.

Most of the inscriptions and signs are loose props. Simply remove if not needed. The textures are a mix of Poser and Physical shader nodes optimized for Superfly renders. You can't stay forever with Poser 4. The interior is left empty for you to fill up. I guess you can do better than a certain British TV show where the toilets of such a pub are actually located in the neighbours' house. I would locate the toilets in the (not existing) basement, leave some room for the beer pumps though. The upper floor is partitioned, a reminder that this were once 2 buildings. These could be used as private or meeting rooms. The prop will load at the right spot in the row of terraced houses. Not zero-ed.

And for something new ... poses for Evolution. I used the Schlabber "Chair" poses made for Posette as a starting point and applied these to Evolution with the necessary corrections and modifications. Though a basic Evolution was used this involves some changes to her body so apply pose first, character second. There are 40 poses in total. Pose 10 did not react at all so I made something up.

Great, I'm sure most of the users don't know about Schlabber, the Master of poses, he made very great pose sets and great adoption.

The poses are still available at his site, too bad he never continued with more recent figures

Note that this set consists mostly of typical modelling poses, not something you would do every day with your chair.

Well, that's one experiment we have to forget. As soon as I load a pose a dialog box opens stating that my pose contains layers. I guess because of the Posette poses.

Whatever option I choose and save none solves the problem. Either the pose doesn't load anymore or I get the dialog box again.

Let's open parcel 1. The 40 poses for Evolution have been repaired. Found a tutorial about Poser layers and indeed I found some extra layers for the Simon G2 figure. What ? I never used Simon and Posette was way before his (run)time. Removed these layers and now everything is ok.

An then parcel 2. While I was looking for a solution for those poses I made something else. There were shops at the corners of my terraced houses but not in the row itself. So I made some. The inscriptions are props which can be removed but you can use a texture on that sign too. The building has over 70 material zones I think. Some of these have a description. In Dutch.

A new one, the Golden Palace Hotel Swimming Pool (working title).

The decoration is of such gaudy taste that I can think of only 1 country where to find this. But I won't name it.

Update. Oops, new model Mk2 with a few changes and the scale of a few textures has changed.

I am looking for pictures of the taxi company buildings in the 1960s movie "Carry on Cabby". I found sites showing shooting locations in Windsor, but none of the taxi company itself, which could also be a movie set : maintenance workshop, canteen, office, parking lot.

At this moment only a texture study for the new 1965 MB bus (aka Mercedes-Benz O302) from ADH3D.

On the right the darker one in correct RAL3004 Purpurrot colour for Bahnbusse (German railway buses) up to 1981. On the left the newer RAL 3027 Himbeerrot "facelifted" version (chrome replaced by plastics and rubber) as would have been used between 1983 and 1989. A more theoretical version, by 1981 the O302 was quite obsolete, if any were still in service it would be doubtful that they cared to repaint these.

Uploaded : 10 shower poses for Evolution P11. Not tested with the P10 version.

A 2nd decoration has been provided. You simply "reroute" to the chosen image in the materials screen.

Since Brexit just seems to be stuck in endless sequels we'll just move on to something new. Nope, you are NOT getting poses as some people complained about my poses modifying their characters.
