i recently downloaded a file for daz studio, and it's in some odd format, that i read was iclone

is there a way to convert the files to poser or duf?

A .daz file is an old Daz Studio scene file. it will be dependent on having the /data folder entries for the models used, so the package should usually have that folder (which needs to merge with the Data folder in the root of one of your content directories).
