Subject: Anyone use audacity?

Excuse me! Anyone use audacity? If yes,please help. I did many adjustings to record voice ,but it always showed a "line". Please tell how to do it then ? Thanks.๐Ÿ˜€Untitled.jpgUntitleda.jpgUntitledb.jpg

From what you show here, I see two blue wiggly lines. That will be your recording. I'm not seeing a problem here.

I have heard of audacity but have never used it myself sorry can not help with this

Hi Atpo. I don't think it's an Audacity problem. You're right, the wiggly lines are line noise. It indicates your mic is not turned up in the device settings, is not plugged in properly, or is not working properly.

And I also try to directly face to laptop to speak ,which is also that issue.๐Ÿ˜€

I don't know the exact settings for your hardware, but you can go into control panel > sound (icon) > recording (tab) just like your picture. There, you can select your device and make sure it's plugged in and working. Then you can see what it's doing by pressing properties. It could be shut off. You may also have extra software to help with all that.
