Found it. We'll fix the space in next build, but the version format change is here to stay. Part of simplifying things in the code base.

Fixed in latest beta. Downloadable behind license wall at: https://www.posersoftware.com/downloads/access.

Thank you Snarlygribbly for updating EZSkin 2. I use it with almost every render and was delighted to have it working again. I do realize that it's time to learn EZSkin 3 for it's more advanced features but I find the prior version just so simple to use. Thanks again, you made my day!
