The joint editor works both with old-school zones and with weightmaps. In the joint ediutor you can combine zones for the particulkar deformation mode of a joint to a weight map. 'Merge all joints to weight maps' is a time saver big bang bazooka that does same for all joints and that may be more than you want.
Unfortunately it makes no difference, if I use the original V4 or Sasha-16 (2019 Edition). The bended thig looks exactly the same. I think this problem is caused by voluptuous bodies in combination with a little bit more of bending. Here are the bending settings of the right thig and the full body morphs. TorsoThickness is 1, HipSize 1.5 and FantasiaBody 0.5. If I set them all to 0 everything looks fine. I think I have to learn how to make my own morphs to fix this. There seems to be no other way.
Look at this! It took me just 10 Minutes to fix it with the Morphing Tool :) First I smoothed out the transisions with the Smooth Action. Then I used a little bit of the Pull Action and smoothed it with the Smooth Action again. I´m really happy! Of course I knew the Morphing Tool before and used it a lot. But in this case I thought too complicated and focused just on techniques like weight mapping and joint edition. Thank you very much gate!!!

I know that's a known problem, but I'm always having problems with it and I would like to find a lasting solution. What would you use to eliminate those ugly gaps that arise during extreme bends? Morphing Tool, Magnets, Joint Editor? By the way, do I have to use "Merge All Zones To Weight Maps" before using the Joint Editor? I think I have seen this in a video by Nerd3D, but unfortunately all videos by Nerd3D have been deleted. Thanks for your help!
